It is officially spring and we couldn’t be more excited! Flowers are beginning to bloom, the weather is becoming warmer, and we are starting to see more events happen. There are some wonderful spring wedding trends emerging this year!
5 Spring Wedding Trends
1. Colorful Florals
“Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking.” As the great Miranda Priestly sarcastically said in The Devil Wears Prada, it seems obvious. In addition to seasonal, spring flower bouquets, we are seeing more incorporations of flowers in the decor, table settings, and even bridesmaids’ dresses. While the decor is not as bold as a summer wedding would be, we are seeing brighter colors complement a pastel palette.
As more outdoor weddings are becoming popular, and necessary, there has been more interest in tents. There are many different styles and additional decor you can add to create an open space that provides atmosphere and lighting at night. String lights and garland are just two of the many different styling options you can add to a tent. Done correctly, they can add a romantic and airy ambiance to your event while keeping your guests and vendors safe.
3. Quality over Quantity
This applies to every detail of the wedding from food to guest count. Many couples are wanting to keep their wedding smaller. So instead of a large wedding, smaller events with higher quality food and drink options, decor, and entertainment are on the rise.
With smaller-scale events, more of the coming weddings are sourced at local venues such as backyards or gardens with help from neighborhood caterers and vendors. Buying from nearby small businesses reduces transportation and supports the local economy.
5. Floral Photo Booths
That’s where Twinkle Photobooth comes in! We have so many background options to choose from and we keep you and your guests safe with touch-free photography. You can opt for traditional printouts or save paper and share the digital album with your guests after the event.
