Twinkle Photo Booth recently had the chance to provide a fun photo booth to a Penn University Student Gala at the Penn Museum in Philadelphia, PA. Penn Museum’s largest student event of the year, showcasing stories more than 2,500 years of human history. Providing many different props, Twinkle helped everyone showcase ‘The Stories We Wear’ by allowing students to pose with their favorite hat, sunglasses, boa, etc.
For the first time since the pandemic, the students were able to have exclusive access to the museum’s exhibits. The event highlights how what we wear has meaning of who we are, what we do, and what we believe. The lines of “The Stories We Wear” celebrates the spectacular exhibits of the museum that preview the array of life’s history. The museum even highlighted the Philadelphia Eagles!
The attendees were all Penn students, undergraduate and graduate were invited! Students were encouraged to tell their own story by wearing what best reflects their lives. Food and drinks, student-led tours, and the Twinkle Photo Booth were provided to all students.
Penn Museum displays the diverse accomplishments from many backgrounds through years of anthropological field work. An array of jewelry, uniforms, regalia, and galleries portray the hard work of our ancestors telling ‘The Stories We Wear.’
Students showed how amazing each individual story is important to share! Everyone’s story is different, everyone celebrated their own story through what they wear! It is great to be a part of an event with such a large meaning, and we were so happy to be included in this event!
